Drink red wine every day! And eat blueberries, carrots, bell peppers, purple cabbage….as many brightly colored fruits and veggies you can. Whole preferably raw and easy on some of the fruit as it contains sucrose the sugar your liver loves to turn to belly fat! These brightly colored veggies contain flavonoids nutrients that are essential for hormones production and are powerful anti-oxidants.
Best to eat Blueberries, cranberries (whole no sugar added) blackberries, raspberries, red grapes, and apples. We make smoothies with coconut milk blueberries and many of the list above. Wine should be red and only 1-2 glasses depending on body weight, yet grapes do the same thing. It is best to eat them whole to avoid the sugar spike as the fiber in the fruit helps your gut bacteria.
Another group of foods to consider is the B-12 superfoods. Lack of this vitamin is a common cause of dementia and can be found in many vegetables, a very high concentration in nutritional yeast as well as clams and other seafood. Check out our recipe for "Kelpie Clams" for a B-12 boost.
